Listen To Your Body

Dear Yogis,


how often have we heard the phrase, “Listen to your body”?

It is an important teaching that implies that we should be sensitive, not push ourselves too hard, notice and respect our boundaries. 


Still, it can echo as a meaningless phrase if there is no guidance offered on what to do once we have listened. Pulling back and doing less is only one of many possible responses we could have to a given situation. If the only option we know is to step back and do less, that that can become disempowering over time.


The focus of my teaching and all that I love to share with students is intended to be empowering – and that means giving you choices. I am passionate about providing the kind of education that enables you to make good choices for your health and well-being.


So, definitely listen to your body. Listening is part of the wonderful and important practice of mindfulness. That is Step One.

Step Two: Now that you have listened, choose the most life-affirming response, those actions that support your healthy, vitality and emotional well-being.


This approach speaks to people who wish to take responsibility for themselves, for their bodies, for their health. “Responsibility” means “the ability to respond”, and that is self-empowerment in a nutshell!

This is a 4 week immersive training where you will practise and refine how you listen to your body AND receive education on how to respond to what your body is telling you.
